July’s Hicomply updates make document management easier with mandatory and optional filters, quicker clause creation, clearer file uploads and editable custom fields.

We’ve introduced several improvements across policies, procedures, records and document management. Here’s what changed in Hicomply during July 2026.
Filter mandatory and optional documents
Users can now instantly filter the policies and procedures grids by “Mandatory” or “Optional”, making it easier to focus on the documents that matter for the task at hand.
Add clauses while creating location records
Users can now add a clause directly when creating records under a location, reducing extra steps and keeping record creation in one flow.
A clearer way to attach files
The new file picker clearly guides users to drag and drop, copy and paste, or browse for files when adding attachments.
Edit custom fields on published documents
Custom fields can now be updated while editing the metadata of published documents, helping teams keep document information accurate without recreating the document.
